Class 2 Driver

Class 2 driver required to drive vehicles ranging from 7.5 tonne to 26 tonne using a variation of hand ball, tail lift and loading bays.
You will be delivering frozen and ambient food to the takeaways, restaurants and wholesalers, whilst maintaining a presentable appearance and good level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Daily walk around checks
• Reporting any defect to the Transport Manager
• Delivering in a professional manner to our customers
• Collecting customer payments
• Maintaining the vehicles as well as its cleanliness
• Must have a good understanding of both EU and Domestic driving laws

Warehouse Operative

A warehouse operative will be required to work from our Stoke on Trent distribution centre and prepare and pick orders individually and as part of a team. Maintaining and re stocking the warehouse following distribution is also a key aspect of this job type.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders in a quick and efficient manner
• Restocking the warehouse once all deliveries have been sent out
• Serving customers that visit the cash and carry
• Go the “extra mile” to promote our company and look after the customers
• Ensuring correct stock rotation
• General cleaning duties
• Some work in the freezers and chillers
• Sometimes going out with drivers as a driver mate

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Cool-tempered and able to work under pressure

Telesales

Working from our Stoke on Trent office, the role will require the candidate to manage customer accounts. This includes processing orders, product and new business enquiries, and any other queries.

Responsibilities

• Build a report with the customers
• Keep up to date with product knowledge
• Work with the Sales Reps to attain new customers
• Various administrative duties
